Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026.
This policy explains what data GearRank collects and how we use it. [Registered entity name and address to be inserted.]
What we collect
GearRank is a static content site. We do not ask you to create an account or submit personal information to browse. We collect only:
- Analytics data (via Google Analytics 4) — anonymised usage such as pages viewed and approximate region, only after you consent via the cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Affiliate click data — when you click a retailer link, the retailer may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. See our affiliate disclosure.
Consent (Consent Mode v2)
Analytics and any advertising cookies default to denied until you accept via the cookie banner. You can reject non-essential cookies and still use the site fully.
Your rights (DPDP Act 2023 / GDPR)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at the address on our contact page.
Third parties
We use Google Analytics (analytics), retailer affiliate programmes (Amazon, Flipkart), and Vercel (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy.
Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
